[open]This isn't *cool* « Thread Started on Oct 21, 2006, 4:57pm »
Taylor walked into the locker roomand looked around with his dark eyes. His long black hair was tucked behind his ears and his dark eyes were outlined with black. He was wearing a pair of scruffy jeans and a tight red t-shirt. He made a bee line straight for his locker, he took out hisr locker key with it's odd selection of key chains dangling from the ring and put it in the key hole. He rotated the key clockwise to open his locker and looked at it's near empty contents. He smiled to himself and set some books inside, he then fished in his messenger bag and took out a picture he'd printed off the computer earlier that day. He lifted out some sticky tape and stuck the picture to his locker. Taylor smiled at the picture and shut the door again. He locked it and looked around scanning the room with his dark eyes for any signs of life.

Shadow groggily made her way down to the loack bay, her black hair a mess. She had only just woken up from what she thought was a horrible hang over from hell. God.. Straight Vodka and rum shots. Shaking her head, she shuffled over to her locker, opening it and shreiking herself out of her somewhat sleepy state as a few books and a empty vodka bottle crashed down on her.
The vodka bottle smashed against the ground, and she cursed rather loudly, kicking her locker. She tossed her bag to the ground, something heavy clattering against the ground inside of it. Cursing to herself, she crouched down and began picking up the pieces of glass, and sighing when she couldn't find a trash bin.
Circling, she found herself facing a boy, and she just stood there before she grasped the glass harder and felt it cut into her skin.
"Shit."
She said rather calmly, before turning back to her locker and tossing the books back into her somewhat empty and messy looking locker, and kicked some of the glass away as she dropped the glass that she had held in her hand.

Taylor watched with a healthy ammount of concern as the girl cut her hand. He walked over to her and looked at the cut, "Are you okay? Do you wanna go to the nurse?" he asked in a clear and confident voice. He knew if she was scared it would scare her even more if he was panicked too. Taylor was a quick thinker. He liked to know what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He didn't like plans but he didn't like having no clue at all. He studied the cut again with his dark eyes and looked up at her with concern, it looked deep and she didn't seem to be aware of the pain or something. He looked her up and down and tried to think of something else to do. His quick thinking had picked the wrong moment to malfunction.

Shadow could hear him approach and turned to face him. As he spoke, Shadow just listened quietly, before looking at her hand. The pain wasn't too bad - not likesome of the broken limbs she had received on the steets. Shutting and locking her locker, Shadow looked at him, shrugging.
"No. Im okay."
She replied, her tone still calm. The 16 year oldcould remember when she was 12 when she broke her arm in her first fist fight. She had bawled like a baby because it hurt so much and someone took her to the hospital to get it set. But as she grew Shadow never asked for help, or accepted it. Even when she broke her arm again, she had walked over to the hopital herself.

Taylor wasn't convinced but nodded all the same. "If you say so." he said before pausing and adding "I'm Taylor." he said knowing that his statement held a certain prompt for her name. He wouldn't mind too much if she wouldn't tell him. It was probably more likely that she would. He was in a muddle. His head wasn't working properly. He hadn't eaten in 4 days now and it was beginning to show. He was sluggish, tired, cranky, moody and slow. He didn't like this feeling. He wanted food but he wanted to be thin more than he wanted food. It was so much better if he didn't eat. If he didn't eat he couldn't get fat. And if he couldn't get fat surely he'd get thinner.

Shadow leaned against her shut locker, letting her injured hand hang. She could feel the blood beginning to dry on her hand, and she let no emotions cross her face. She was in a public place, no? Why should she even care at this point and time? As she learned his name, she let her green eyes focus on his.
"Shadow."
She replied bluntly, running her uninjured hand through her hair, before letting it drop again. The los of blood wasn't a big deal, but she knew she was going to regret it.

Taylor nodded and shoved his hands in his pockets. He wasn't sure what he was going to do now. He smiled at her slightly. "So what you got next?" he asked tilting his head to one side and looking at her. He was obviously referring to classes. He had science or something. He was planning to skip anyway, his head was too screwed up from lack of food for him to be able to concentrate. Especially in science or whatever he had next. He looked at her again and flicked hair out of his face. He wrapped his arms around his waist and instantly felt sick, he let go of his belly quickly and heard it gurgle loudly. He looked up and gave Shadow a lame smiled, "Skipped breakfast." he lied in explanation.

Shadow wiped the drying blood on her pants, sighing to herself. It hurt to flex her hand to squeeze it into a fist. As Taylor talked, she looked back at him and shrugged.
"I could care less. Im probably going to skip the rest of the day."
Shadow responded, as Taylor's stomach growled. As he explained, Shadow merely shrugged. She could hardly get meals, unless she stole or she was lucky enough to get money from a passing stranger.
"Or I miht stay for my English class... thats the only good thing about school.."

Taylor smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I like english also. Or at least until i met my english teacher." he laughed shortly and sighed. His dark hair hung around his shoulders lifelessly and he left it like that. He didn't want to get all feminine and flick it or anything. That would be weird. He suddenly sneezed, when he finished sneezing he looked startled and blinked slowly and heavily, as if in a daze. Then he lauhged. HE wasn't so sure why he was laughing but he was. He shook his head at himself and grinned at Shadow.

"Yeah, English isn't a drag."
Shadow said softly, before she looked at her hand again. Hell - it wasn't stinging anymore, but the drying blood would slit from pressure and it would start bleeding again, so Shadow didn't tryand move it. She was somewhat startled when Taylor sneezed, and when he started laughing. At his grin, Shadow let the smallest smile break past her lips.

Taylor coughed a strange sort of laugh and shrugged, "I sneezed and it was funny somehow." he grinned at her and sat down on the ground. He folded his legs in front of him, he gazed up at her and smiled.

She said softly, rubbing her eyes. Going all night with the beginnings of a nasty hangover, Shadow tossed and turned before maybe getting an hour or to of sleep. That was why she had gotten kicked out of geography class - she had fallen asleep during an "important"speech.
"I think Im going to skip. Its not like they can't tell me not to."
She said,as she pressed back against her locker and slid down. Shadow didn't have to be out of school to be skipping - she can just not show up for classes.

Taylor smiled and nodded, "They can only advise you not to." he agreed, "I'm skipping too. I don't feel well and I'm don't going to that matron. She'll just give me a pain killer and tell me to get back to class." Taylor laughed and rolled his eyes at the memories, he looked at her and thought deeply. "Where are you going to go?" he asked as he walked back over to his locker to put all his books back. He smiled at her and tucked some hair behind his ear. He was beginning to get increasingly annoyed with his hair and his general appearance. He wasn't just fat, in his opinion, he was hideously ugly as well.
